Engage in "Dancing My Alter Ego" a captivating Dance Performance Project directed by Alexander Carrillo, a queer ritualistic artist working from a holistic experience merging in dance, shamanism, psychology and mindfulness. Embark on a path of self-discovery and empowerment.

It performance offers a transformative journey interconnected by one creativity weekly encounter, culminating in a unique performance project. The main intention is to strengthen the connection with our actual needs, along with autobiographical memories, our inner child and find support in what can be your ALTER EGO. 

Over  meetings of 2,5 hours sessions, Alexander will guide participants through an exploration of body movement, voice technique, and the creation of a powerful ALTER EGO. The Latin concept of the alter ego becomes a catalyst for self-discovery, breaking personal barriers of fear and hesitation. This unique journey encourages everyone to express themselves, healing their bodies, emotions, and spirits, affirming their true selves. Beyond the stage, the project delves into personal growth elements, inviting participants to explore their "masks" and dark parts. The performance is an intimate sharing with friends and strangers, fostering a new dialogue with our physical and emotional selves.

Building on Alexander Carrillo's research initiated in 2006 for "CUERPO PRESENTE: The Inner Beast," our focus will center on four core pillars:

1. Emotional States: ‘awareness’. 
2. Physicality skills: ‘research in motion’. 
3. Spiritual Conscience: ‘Inner connection’
4. Mental health: ‘self love’.

Who Can Participate:

Everyone, every age! This program is open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds! Let go of the notion that dance is solely for the trained. Alexander's approach begins with the simple act of dancing in your everyday spaces. He breaks barriers for everyone. No experience is required and professionals in any scenic area are also welcome.

The program includes organization, preparation, guidance, concept, space for the performance for the final sharing / show space. And two extra hours the day of the performance.

PRICE RANGE: (for a total of 22 to 28 hours)

• €200 to €250 
• Discounted Rate for Students & Artists: €160 to €200
• Additional: There is a open levels class  from 6:00 - 7:45 
• You get a discount of 10 euros per class if you take the workshop.  
• SPACE LIMITED TO MAXIMUM OF 12 PEOPLE. It will take a palace with a minimum of 7 people.

DETAILS & HOW WE WILL USE OUR TIME:

Meeting 1 to 2: Awakening the Spirit of Creativity: Begin your journey establishing the base for self-expression and discover the bases of your alter ego.
 Personal exploration tools.

Meeting 3 to 5: Embracing Your Alter Ego : During this phase of the workshop, our primary aim will be to strengthen your connection with your autobiographical memories. We'll continue to expand on the progress from the previous session, encouraging further exploration and insight. These tasks will be introduced and discussed in detail during our session.

Meeting 6 to 7 Culminating the Creative Expression and Shared Journey: As we approach the culmination of our creation process, our focus shifts to harnessing the culmination of our collective experiences. These meetings are dedicated to integrating your personal journey through creative safe compositions, and the expression of your transformative growth.

Meeting 9: Performance sharing: Address insecurities, fears while fostering personal character, emotional and spiritual growth. And challenge misconceptions surrounding dance.
